I know exectly that some company made it, but never saw alive! .its very rare beast! friend of big foot :o

Huh, interesting. I just didn't figure that a hip-mount kit could be manufactured for this particular detector because of the design.
Guess I'll sit back & wait to see if anyone else has... :happy1:

Thanks... I'll have to give it a go sometime, once I learn my XS. :)

Apparently mine is missing the cuff... I haven't really looked at it to see if my cuff from my XS will fit onto it or not.
I wonder if anyone on here might have the instruction manual with the photos on it so I can see how it's supposed to look when being used? That would probably help out alot to see how in the world to use this thing....

i have now made my own hip mount kit for my explorer and it works a treat. only thing is the body of the explorer isn't the best of shape to mount but you get used to it. making the extention cable isn't as strait forword as you think. it has to have what you call a fantasy wire added to stop interference when the cable is moving. if you dont add this the machine folses every small move.

Hello Iron foot, thanks for the post and cable photo, but i disagree with you about mystic extention cable, somebody just told you not true about mystic cable. your cable is 2 coax plus one for anything ore for grounding connection, but your cable coax core is solid which will not last long-maybe? i use just to coax without third or grounding coil extention connection and works like your wonderfull well. good luck Stasys

cable and box

i am a beach hunter so i waterproofed by old expII and now my newer Se Pro.

back in 2004 i used coil extensions from both sunray and coiltec, but this year i could only find them available from coiltec.

the rig iron_foot has is really nice, but for the beach, i needed it to be wave proof and rain proof........

so, now i have it in a box on my back, sometimes in a aquapak bag on my chest, but 99% on my back.
