Trying to decide which to get and what I will end up liking the most. Don't want to buy a 1500$ machine and wish I went for the other coil. What do most guys like on here? I know bigger coil you cover more ground but just wanting to know what other guys like. Anyone have used both and which do you like better?

I suggest you go to the 8 inch coil, I have had mine for along time. I normally detect about 6-8 hours when I do go out.It is hip mounted and I use a Babbs Scoop with a stainless steel tip.Call me Lucky, Beach Coins from May 2013.

But I'm gonna get more coverage with the 10" and I'm hearing a lot of guys say its not that hard to pinpoint.

Yes Irishgoldhound, I'm not sure what correlation there is between the nice coins and an 8" coil, but the 10" and even my 13" are easy to pinpoint with for me anyway.

Lol..not sure either. Nice coins he's got though. 10" inch should work fine for me. I'm using the 11" coil on my AT Pro right now and at the beach I'm recovering targets pretty quick.
