This YouTube video saved my Minelab Excalibur from catastrophic water intrusion.
Watch the video and inspect your metal detector!
After watching this YouTube Video, I inspected the top O-rings on my Excalibur. From the side they looked fine. Just for added piece of mind, I removed the knobs and again inspected the O-rings. One O-ring had failed and another was near failure. The failed O-ring had allowed water to leak past, however the top double O-ring seal held and no damage occurred. I was really grateful to have happened upon the video. That's why I'm sharing it with you. If you own a Minelab Excalibur, you should watch this video. All the information you need to check the O-rings, lubricate, or replace them is included.
Hope you find this helpful. Tt
