Hello fellow T-neter's,

I found this in my grandfather's yard the other night. It appears to be some sort of military award or pendant.
It has the eagle clutching the olive branches. The eagle itself is plastic and the rest metal.

I found it on my first night hunt. Boy was it exciting!!! My centech pinpointer was a true life saver since it has a built in light.

Any replies would help on ID ing this find.

Thanks Catfish.

I'm sure it was my grandfather's but a previous owner. Although he was in the Army. No stripe is visible to me. Any suggestions on cleaning

it up?

I found it about 6 inches. Never know what you might find in the ground and a night hunt makes it that

much more exciting.

You can use a toothbrush and Comet or a Brillo pad, it has no value. Once you have it cleaned up paint it Flat Black.

Happy Hunting

Try soaking it in Olive oil first and then the brushes, it does great on CW relics.

Militaria is always a great find. WTG...jgas
