After the snow melt I decided to give the Roman Villa field another go 8) knowing the snow would have flattened the crop and the soil, so a few finds might show :P
Managed a few scrappy Bronzes(posted the best) and another 2 hammered two cut halfs both short cross, also a nice little seal, can't decide if its Roman or later
First Gold of the year, hopefully not the last, and hopefully not the oldest, it's part of a Gold cuff-link, had a unusuall Alloy Token and a couple of Bronze ones made the day worth while.Hopefully tomorrow will bring more of the same
I have also posted a picture of some of the building material used on the Villa, you can see the stones and flints used in the making of what looks like concrete.
