Found the stone it's magnetic and it what appears to be small Olivine crystals could this possibly be a meteorite??? 20210213_041054_HDR.jpg20210213_041033_HDR.jpg

Please take all the following with a huge grain of salt since I am a noob.

It seems that sometimes even experienced hunters have a hard time telling the difference between earth rocks and meteorites since you can have magnetic earth rocks as well. If you found it in a known strewn field, it could give you a clue. You could have found a new field though :-) When the going gets tough you can have the rock analyzed at a lab where they will check for the iron and nickel contents. If it is an earth rock then there is a good chance you'll have the iron content but will be missing the nickel. If you have both then you probably have a space rock. Labs will slice and keep a piece of your rock to do the analysis.

With regards to the olivine inclusions, you can check the structure and other properties via a magnifying glass and check the hardness as well (should be around 6.5-7 and scratch glass).

If the olivine is of space origin, under the microscope it shows shock remnants and forms along structural plains with multiple cleavages. Earth olivine will have more roundish inclusions. If the microscope can't help, then you can apparently tell the difference in composition with a mass spectrometer but I am not sure what the details are. John Koivula, the chief gemologist at the GIA is the expert on this.

When looking at your rock, it almost looks like a igneous rock with quartz embedded in it and not olivine.

Good luck in finding out though.
