Has two holes,maybe three

You can clearly see "EXCERs" the "S"
Is backwards and I can't read the rest unless maybe if I clean it a little. I don't want to clean it though.
It measures .182" thick 2.06"x 2.43
Heavy and hard

I don't think it's a stamp wouldn't the rest of the letters be backwards? And I'm 100% pos. it's a guy on a horse what type activity happened around the site you found it?

You should start a thread over in Today's Finds :icon_thumright: It's an awesome find and deserves some extra attention.

I don't know how much of a collecting community there is for these notes but the fact that Vlack has written a book on them helps tremendously. I also don't know if an auction house like Heritage would be interested in your find but it might be interesting to send them an email to try to find out more about it.
