Took some digging but I found the Wichita Kansas AATA had an emblem copy-written by the US Library of Congress Copyright Office on Oct 14, 1918.
The metal tag was attached to the radiator of the car.

Here's a picture of a Buick with one on it.

And possibly the group may be even older, found some references saying the AATA was originally the AHTA. The Anti Horse Theft Association, before cars were present and horses were the means of transportation.

I think it reads Thief, not Theft. That may help in google searches.

Thank you guys for your help I did find that on the page that you put the URL for thank you so much for your help! That's so cool to think they actually had an anti theft logo that started with horses.
