Usually these are missing from the turn of the century cast iron toys...could be valuable when used in the correct combination...by itself it has a rather low value...

I have seen this little guy on an antique die cast fire engine. Same little uniformed guy may have been used on several toys? Monty

same guy could have deffinitely been used on different toys. i say horse drawn something... horse drawn fire engine? cast iron toys where very popular in the mid/late 1800's and on up to the 1920's when tin toys began to be popular. look on ebay for "cast iron toy" and you may find what this guy went on.
