Would be interested in one. Saw the one Frank1960 got from you and I liked it. I have an Etrac and an Xterra. Would like one for either first but then would likely get another later for the other. Do you have any left that would fit either of those two detectors?

The Xterra yes. Etrac no. I haven't been able to get my hands on an Etrac, Explorer or Safari. I have to see which size stand I need to make to fit those models. As soon as I get my hands on one I will let you know. I think I have one that will fit it but, I have to make sure before I start making them. Thanks for the Compliment. Frank1960 likes his. I did get one from you for my xterra finally. You ever come up with any for the etracs yet? Would really like to get one for mine. I love the one for the XT. Works great, fits perfect. What kind of measurements you need for the etrac and where. I am machinist trained and I have anything needed to take the measurements for you. Calipers, inside and outside micrometers. Pretty much anything to get the measurements down to the millimeter. And I can do a drawing for you. A good one. Let me know. Happy to be the guinea pig.

Frank knows me pretty well and is a friend as well as a bunch of guys from the forum. Well known here. Well, fairly well known. <laugh>

I never did get my hands on that etrac. Drove to Baton Rouge Cabelas and the had one in the box. It had security measures on it. Could not open it to see if it would fit. Take mr some measurements where you would like the stand to go. Probably in the section where your forearm is located. Measure the bottom of that shaft. Width wise. Let's start there. Tell me what you get.

do a good job on the measurements yours will decide if he makes anymore from your measurements..."feel the pressure" lol

IF You are in Louisiana or Mississippi and are within decent driving distance from Natchez, Mississippi I would like to take some pics and Measurements. I will give you a free stand when I get them in Production.

Well, I am not in any of those states at the moment, though I will be going through Louisiana sometime in the next 4 to 5 weeks.
I can get some photo's of my Etrac to you easily enough along with some accurate measurements. Will do that tomorrow. Was sick yesterday evening and today all day. Feeling a bit better tonight. Overdid things a bit lately.

Anyway, I think you have your email address available in your profile so can email the photos to you along with all the measurements.
And if you still need to see a live Etrac when I go through Louisiana, we can arrange to meet so you can see hands on. The wife and I will be going through on our grand retirement trip...seeing this country some before it goes down the tubes.

Thanks... was a bad couple of days. Still seem to not quite be out of it. Thought I was feeling better till I went to get up this morning. You know I am an early riser, but this morning...heck....I couldnt drag myself out. Felt like my head weighed 100 pounds and I was running a fever again. So I stayed there for another 4 hours. So once again I am floored and out for the count. <deep sigh>
Just over busy the last few weeks. Havent been taking it easy any. So my bod is telling me to relax for a few days. I am going to take its advice.

I've built 10 detector stands today with a migrane. They are done and paint is curing. I got a little to hot today and thats what happens when I do that. I took a botte of Excedrin Migrane, Tylenol and drank water. I'm better. Just glad to have all 10 stands done. Gonna look tonight and find some better tools to make building a little faster. Going to be offering different color stands as well. I build every stand by hand. No machines. I would greatly appreciate you sending me some pictures and measurements for the Etrac. I want to be able to build a stand for those as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I dont envy you doing that with a migraine. Havent had one in a while, but I used to get them frequently in years back.
At my age though a migraine would floor me for a day or two maybe. No, I picked up some kind of bug a few days back that has been putting me through my paces. Couldnt eat, barely drink anything, even in this heat. And what I did manage to eat or drink was coming out both ends. Fever, the whole shooting match. Not fun. Not fun at all. Was feeling better Friday evening and figured it was over but woke up Sat and discovered it wasnt. So stayed abed. Didnt have much choice. My wife wouldve killed me if I had gotten up and tried to do anything. Frank can tell you about that. My wife is a pretty strong willed woman.

I will get those photos out to you today...I didnt take em yesterday...you know why..anyway..will get them out to you along with the measurements...and as to tools...I am moving, retiring so to speak, and selling off most of my tools and equipment.
What kind of tools would you be looking to get. Or needing? I would be happy to donate some of what I have left to you if it would help you. Long as it, or they, could be mailed, that is. Call it a trade for a stand or two. Let me know what you are needing.

They are BOTH stuborn LOL But that is why they get along so well. When one shouldn't be doing something the other puts their foot down and makes them behave just as it should be.

Glad your feeling better! Been there with both ends flowing at the same time not a fun deal at all. But think of it this way your cleaned your system out and lost a little weight too lol

Old_goldchaser and Frank I thank you guys for wishing me well. It was a long night. Was up till 5 a.m.with the upset stomach. I pulled through. Luckily I caught up at the firestation this morning.
