Metal detecting in Washington becoming extinct?

Hi, I'm new to this site. I just got my first detector (a bounty Hunter Tracker IV) and have been having a great time in my backyard with it (so far I've just found a bunch of old nails and pieces of metal and an old die cast children's toy car). I'm itching to head out somewhere else, but am unsure of where to go. I live in Seattle. Anyone else live in/around seattle and want to link up? salvucci2@gmail.com.

Check out Pilchuck metal detecting club. Great group of people. We meet on second Saturday for a hunt. Club meeting third Wednesday in Everett not in july though.

hey, i live in maple valley as well! i havent Md'ed anywhere except my parents property where the old train tracks ran through from hobart to seattle...found a huge railroad spike. id love to go metal detecting with anyone in the area, if you hit this post again, we can get in touch, ive done REALLY well at some of the beachs in seattle, but thats about it! using a Fisher f-4, hit me back

hi davehalsen, i am Kenya (female) a new detectorist i have had a GRT AT PRO for a couple of years & just started using it this summer so far i have found a toy car, dime, penny, iron chunk, pulltab, med bracelette & many nails/screws i am interested in catching up with someone to detect with, since i have reservations about detecting alone i can meet you in the zips parking lot, Spokane WA @ euclid/market im going to swing in my neighborhood this eve

Hey Poor old tom. I will be at the gold show in Monroe Feb23rd. It is great place for me to make some upgrades and meet other diggers. I go there every year.
