Hey everyone. I'm a newbie to this site and have been detecting for about 3 years. I went out to search around my great grandfather's property he purchased back in the late 30s. Didnt find anything valuable but I found some interesting things and I'm not sure if it was his or maybe the previous owner. First i found two axe heads about 6" deep. Looks to be Hoosier style axe head? One is in rough shape but the other I'm going to restore. Knocked off the chunks of rust and got down to the pitted iron. The other thing I found was old walk behind plow about 8" deep. I've gotten a lot of rust off of it but dont see a manufacturer marking. The axe heads look very old like late 1800s early 1900s? And look as if made by blacksmith because of imperfections. What do you think? Also I know my great grandfather used a tractor so not sure if the plow was before his time there? I've read that some plows were also made at local blacksmiths and wont have a manufacturer mark on it? Thank you, Jeff
