I envy you FL hunters. It's cold as hell up here in MD and I HATE cold weather.

Yes I moved from Oregon to Florida about 4 month ago and I don't miss the cold one bit ,I love Metal detecting even if I find nothing I look at it as my exercise "and it a good one" and a great hobby. But I love that feeling of when it beeps is like when a slot machines sings.

I just got back from the airport. I took my boss and his son to catch a flight to Sarasota FL.

Again, I envy anyone who has warm weather this time of year. Oh, if I were you; I wouldn't miss the cold one bit either.

And yeah, you gotta' love this hobby. I enjoy ALL of my hunts whether I'm digging treasure or digging trash.
Every new target is another surprise and has the potential of being something really cool.

Yep, hunted in the water of the Gulf around Tarpon Springs.
That was around Christmas and New Years. Used my Excalibur. Found a mess of stuff including lots of clad, a silver bracelet and finally a lady's 10kt gold ring. Then we flew.back to NYC after being delayed by a snowstorm.
Yep, Florida is great during the winter, but I can't take the humidity in the summer.
Keep hitting the beach, the.gold will show up.
