On channel .. LMN .. That is Life movie network .. They are to have a hour show about Mel fisher who we all know made his fortune as a treasure hunter. ….. But lost it later amid accusations of coin counterfeiting .. But i don't think he lost it all … it will be on a show called .. City Confidential on Tues morning May , 27 at 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM… I don't know if i will be home so i put a tape in to copy it...

Whats a tape? I vaguely remember VCR'S LOL. just pulling your chain. plan on DVRing it.

Interesting. Yes youtube it please.

Some one might know how to put a TV show on youtube … But i have no idea how to put things on youtube..

I would be interested in seeing the show. I knew Mel and have often wondered of the rumors, accusations and other information concerning this. I met an elderly gentleman here years ago (don't know if he is still alive or not) that told me that he lived across the canal from Mel Fisher's home in Ft. Myers before they moved here and that he actually saw Mel throwing coins into the water in the canal (not sure of the years that he saw this) and then later retrieving them from the canal. Besides, I never quite believed the story from around the early to maybe almost mid-1980's about the big 6 foot, 5 or 6 inch tall blonde fellow that grabbed one or two of the big Spanish Silver Bars from a display case at the old Museum which was a replica of a Spanish Galleon, ran and jumped into a yellow Volkswagen Beetle with a getaway driver and disappeared to never be found. I mean, come on, Key West is only 1 mile wide by 2 miles long and the drive to the mainland is a little over 100 miles, so where could the car and the two suspects have went to!!?? I would include a link but cannot find it and can only find a link to the theft of a 11 inch Gold Bar stolen in 2010 from the Museum.

I would never make any accusations but one has to wonder!

That gold bar gets stolen, reinsured and put back on display again every decade or so….
You make a very good point Frank

I guess i will have to have some one show me how to down load things to my computer first.. Then go from there..

I think there are a lot of young people on Tnet now that do not have any idea who Mel Fisher is..

Probably so, I'm barely old enough to know who he was. "Today is the day!"

Well you know that "Today is the Day" So you have heard of Mel..

Unno who he is and I'm 21. However I would help you upload it to YouTube remotely. I'd control you're computer from my own desk lol. However my computer is out of commission ATM. Its really easy to do though. There should also be a USB port on you're DVR.

Maybe I'm a bit naive but isn't getting permission to use the material one of the steps?
