Medeival ring ?

Hi guys, can anyone put a date in this ring, it was found by a friend today, he sent the best pics he could and says he thinks it's gold but it's not stamped. Anyway if you need any more info I'll ask him. Thanks guys

Judging by the pics only, it appears to be a Roman bronze ring, but it could easily be a repro of one. We need more information and better pics from your friend.

Copper Alloy Rings became very popular during the 1700's, the cross in the middle might indicate a Rosary Ring, but no older than that.
