Here's some really cool information and history about a lot of town names and their origins in Pennsylvania.
I actually learned somethings from this web site, for example: the name Schuylkill is not what you think. If you say it's an Indian name, your wrong. It's a Dutch term meaning "hidden stream". Now that I didn't know and I live in Schuylkill County.
It also mentions the town of Olyphant and a hidden treasure. Another one I didn't know about. Very interesting reading to say the least.
