Me & EdDekalb took a trip to the old schoolhouse- found civil war buttons!

So Ed and I went to the old one room schoolhouse where I found the indian head about a month ago. We found 3 civil war buttons (in Northern IL mind you). I also found 2 other unknown buttons the large flat button says "LONDON ___ CLEAVER" on the back- don't know what middle word is- any ideas? Also found a 1940-D Jefferson nickel, unfortunately the only coin. Ed was nice enough to give the farmer a really nice civil war button he found- farmer was asking what medal detector he should buy after talking to us for about an hour . Farmer also said he found a 5 dollar gold coin last year when tilling his garden..... time for a trip to the farmer's house before he learns how to use his new detector!!!! J/K

Good idea....also get there fast because even the most unskilled person with the cheapest detector can get lucky and find your gold coin...TnT
