Maybe nothing, maybe something?

I was out today and came across this beautiful colored boulder that appears to have a foot print or maybe a fossil within it? Or maybe nothing at all. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to post a picture and see what you guys think. Found in Lakewood, CO.

Almost looks like heavily eroded limonites. That is the ore that gold prospectors were after at a lot of Colorado Mines.
