Maybe an idea?

Has anyone tried to look in their local newspaper(s) in the Lost & Found section to see if anyone lost jewelry & stuff and offered rewards? Don't they in most cases genarally state the location lost?

Just an idea but was wondering if anyone had tried this idea before?

How about posting an add yourself...... How many housewifes, daughters, etc. lost stuff in the yard that they dont want to tell there spouse or parents about!!! keep it confidential, who knows they may even make a reality show about it HA HA

When I see a Lost ad, I usually call the person, Tell them I have a Metal Detector & ask them if it was lost somewhere where I may be able to find it, with it. IF THEY SAY YES, I ask them if they can meet me at the spot, to point out the possable areas, if they cant meet me, I get as much info as I can over the phone, and go look. so far I'm batting about 75% Finds, out of about 30% lost in the right areas. alot of times their lost in malls, along sidewalks etc.
