Between last night and this morning it’s break time. Tamale the wild Turkey that adopted Us doesn’t mind it. She may have her own feeder and waterer now😂
Happy Hunting !!!!!

I wouldn't teach that Turkey how to knock RJ ! I've never seen one so close to someone's door.
I too have never seen a turkey that close to a windowed slider door. That is highly unusual and cool to see. But.... A few years ago out in my wood shop my son and I were going to exit the shop and got a huge surprise. He open the solid 36" door and a wild turkey damn near fell inside. It must have been leaning on it...? It started to flap its wings barely missing my son. There were 2 more within 3-4 feet of this turkey. All hell broke loose...! The turkey's were all trying to get away asap and my son about ran me over backing up. I was laughing my ass off at his reaction.

Your turkey by your glass door and my occurrence just "don't" happen except when they do. Great pic you got there sir...!!!!!

I was finally able to get a video of her flying up in the top of a tree to roost last evening. Too large to upload, but a very cool thing to watch:)

After research it shows that 10% of hens have small spurs and beards, and spiraled
Droppings. It says that Tom’s have J shaped droppings with longer spurs and beards. That’s how We decided it’s a hen because she aligns with the first suggestion. She will only fluff when she seems to feel threatened. As Tom’s usually fluff and strut . Either way this Turkey will be fed good😊

I know some hens have short beards., Not saying this one is impossible. I have not done any research on them. I just assumed it was to long for a hen. I am probably wrong

STILL A GREAT PICTURE and THANKS for posting
