Found this great button today, but I dont know much about it. Its 0.966" in diameter just 0.010" larger than a quarter and 0.064" thick, has a back mark that looks like it says WARRENTED, then under that it has another word but I can only read the first few letters TRE--- then another word under that but I can only read the last letter which is D and under that it has a wreath. :help: ??? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dean

Probably Treble Plated

Treble plated means it was supposed to have a triple amount of silver plate on it. The button was probably British made and dates 1814 to 1820 or so. Any buttons marked plated were silver plater any marked gilt were gold plated
