Was able to get out for a couple hours in a cow pasture Saturday, the same place I dug an 1842 dime and a large cent a couple weeks ago. There was a hotel nearby from 1830 to 1862, and I believe the place was used for picnics in the early 1900s.

Looks like you snagged a Civil War infantry button with your haul as well. Great spot!

Sounds like a killer spot Steve!

Thanks, I was happy to dig the one piece infantry button. Actually it's pre-war (1820s-1830s) and only the third one piece Infantry that I've found.

Some nice finds you dug there Steve.

Congratualtions on the nice coin and relic hunt! :occasion14:

That one piece Infantry is awesome Steve :occasion14: You probably remember, I was lucky enough to find two of those last year... that earlier military stuff is great to see in the dirt. That Freemason watch fob is really cool too!

Wonder watch fob. Glad you had a great hunt.

Those one piece Eagles are feeeeel good finds! Nice one. Great Fob too. Glad to see you're getting out.

Thanks Brad, I do remember you recovering those buttons. Sorry about my picture quality, these were from my phone and uploaded to T-net yesterday at the airport. I can't remember the exact backmark, on this button, but it does have a mold seam across the back, which is kind of unusual.

Thanks Steve, I was happy to see the eagle and the I on that one. Then I dug the fob and was even happier.
