Just curious if Mark Smith is a member here. I recently found his Metal Detecting: A Beginner's Guide in my local thrift. After years of watching the various detecting shows, finding and reading his book was the catalyst to finally purchase my first metal detector. Very good newbie intro to the hobby/sport and I wanted to say thank you.
