So happy that agate season is upon us. I found this agate searching a local field yesterday. With all the eyes this one has though I cannot help but wonder if it saw me first.

Thanks. I feel very lucky that lake superior agates blanket the land around here. There was a time that I thought I had to drive up to Northern MN to find these other than some incidental gravel in my yard. It turns out even the field just down the road is a pretty decent place to look for agates.

Agates are delicious. I think I will have this one for dessert tonight.
