Hey everyone,
I've been searching a new park I found recently. Has a ballfield, tot-lot, walking track, grassy area, etc. I have found quite a few Wheat cents there and I just knew there had to be a touch of silver there.
Today, I set out in the ballfield. My 4th target I dug this beauty. 1942 Mercury. You can see where I pinpointed it too close.
After about an hour in the field, I decided to start heading back to the car. I thought I would hit the Tot-Lot first so I tried something a little different for programs. I went to "JEWELRY/BEACH". In my first swing I got a GOOD LOUD +10-+15. I rubbed the sand out of the way and saw THIS!!!!!!!
IT REALLY GOT MY HEART POUNDING! It looks like gold. There isn't a mark on it except for the hand engraved markings on the outside. Plus, you can tell where they melted the metal for the Rams' Head to join onto the bracelet.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
Ian
