Mama fox came by today

Blackie, my local papa fox has been around most of the winter but today his mate showed up close by for the first time. Blackie is in the foreground, mama behind him. He grabbed the peanut butter sandwich I threw out for him and then gave it to his mate, so cute to see him share. I'm hoping for a good litter this year, watching the little ones play is a favorite pastime of mine. I named him Blackie several years ago because he has a lot of black fur on his back, more than the other foxes I see around here.

Cool pic. Thanks for sharing. I seen a fox last summer two different times laying close to some pine trees down the road from me. It had been years since I had seen one around here and probably the best looking fox I have ever seen. His coat of fur looked perfect.

Great pics! Thanks! I really like spotting foxes! Saw one fishing at a lake we were camped at a few years ago. It is one of my favorite memories.
