Maiden Voyage Early 1900's House - Silver / Relics ***VIDEO***

***I am still having problems uploading pictures here on Tnet.*** I will keep trying over the next few days.

I scored permission to detect an early 1900's house in town on a 1/2 acre lot. These are my finds after about 3 hours. I only detected the front yard so far. I have a lot to cover yet. It was a real treat using my new Garrett Pro Pointer. My detector is a Tesoro Vaquero. I was able to recover some silver and some nice old relics, so I am very happy no one has detected this place before.
Enjoy the video.

Thanks for looking,
-ModernMiner-

you made some great finds :icon_thumleft:

Thank you. I'm going to get back over there this week for a second try weather permitting.
Have a great week,
MM

Great stuff ! I think your "What's it" piece with the loop on it is the trigger to your cap gun

That's a nice bunch of finds. Did you wear your eye patch and look like a pirate?

Thanks D. You know me, I would have if I (eye) had one. Arrrrrrrrrr.

If I have to go back for yet another surgery I'm going to ask for x-ray vision this time. :tongue3:
You guys have been killing it on the CW relics. Nice "I" button you dug. I could use an EYE button.

Great finds Doug, congrats on the silvers! :occasion14:
Enjoyed watching your video too!

I see Breezie beat me to the punch here on what the brass comb was that you found, but I'll post pics for you anyway! :laughing7:

Awesome. Thanks for the pix Dave. Those combs were very well built. Actually, most things were very well built in the old days. :laughing7:
I'm going to try to get back over there this week. Can't wait to see what else that yard may turn up.
Happy New Years! :occasion18:

Nice to see you were able to hunt on the injured roster. Not bad for a one eyed digger. I love that spot, you are just scratching the surface so far. Imagine how much you'll be able to find with two eyes, lol. (by the way good luck with that and up and coming operation) Let me know if you need two more eyes attached to a AT Pro, haaaaa.

LMAO!!! Thanks TH. I'll tell ya what, it's tough judging distances right now. I'm afraid to back my truck out of the garage. :laughing7:
I've had three eye surgeries so far, and here is what I currently l@@k like. Not bad, huh? :tongue3:
Eye will keep you posted if eye need help.
Thanks Buddy,
Doug

Thanks Buckaroo.
Breezie sent me an interesting link on these combs. Check it out:

malone

I had dug another one but it was all busted up so I chucked it.
May is coming soon Will. Have you decided on what kind of knot you are going to tie? :tongue3:
