Yes, he was very happy to have that ring back, and I was thrilled to have found it for him. These folks have been so generous to let us hunt their property and it was a great opportunity to be able to show them how much we appreciated it. Plus it was just dang fun to search and find it.
MM...The ring was Tungsten carbide. I had never heard of it. :P Didn't have a clue how it would 'ring' up. Turns out that it read as if it were a gold class ring..in the 50's on my MXT. And yes...that's the same spot with all the rock walls. Great memory there!
