Detector(s) used
Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Went back to a few places this week post work and last Saturday.
Colonial spot is getting hot again now that it's less overgrown than it was last time I was there summer 2022. This time managed 3 more coppers (running total is now 6 ). a large cent, 1775 kg3 and a smoothy with no id. What i think is a drawer pull ?? with ceramic center, silver washed flat button and silver fragment of a Luckenbooth broach commonly used as trade silver with the Native Americans in the 1700s. (Thank you field guide to history for the id).
Crotal bell and Savoy key tag are from a different spot.

Spoon, concave 2 piece button and bucket lister wax seal matrix are from a spot a co worker took me too. But that 1st time I took wrong trail for finds. This time I went different way and did much better. Thanks everyone for looking.

Nice digs, congratulations.
Still looking for my first piece of trade silver.

I honestly though it was a buckle part at first because I found a complete and much later silver scarf buckle in here. But field guide to history helped on id.

Have you reference link to that guide?
Would like to see what it's like.

It's actually someone's Instagram profile. Happen to post it on my account there and he was able to id it. If you have Instagram check his page out.

Noticed the Luckenbooth Brooch straight away, good find.
Then saw that ceramic knob thingy, I find quite a few of those, no idea what they are off.
