Macro pictures with cell phone camera

If any of you have an old laser pointer or broken CD drive laying around, you can pull the focusing lens out of it and use it with your cell phone camera to take macro pictures of your finds.
One of my daughters told me about this and showed me some pictures she took doing it. Very cool.

just loaded the magnifying glass app.. Neat, but you can still tell it is digital zoom..
