LUE MAP THEORY, MAYBE SOME CONTEXT

Just a reminder to everybody, everything I've posted on this thread is my opinion, only the person who designed the LUE clue knows what it means, if anything.
Wow mdog, nice work. Great thread. I think your ancient DNA is coming awake and traveling up Herme's staff to the top where the heart is laying. It's taking off like a duck taking to flight, up, up, up and away. Thank you for the info. mdog.

Short answer, not specifically off the top of my head.
There might be something to this though.
Long-windid explanation coming:

It is my personal opinion that the core of the Masonic tradition pre-dates the Bible. To illustrate that lets look at the physical home of the Templars and the center of Masonic symbolism, King Solomons Temple. If you look at the explanation of King Solomons Temple in the book of Kings in the Bible, you will see Masonic symbolism. I mantain you see Masonic symbolism there and NOT the other way around, based in part on the advanced state of the symbolism. The symbolism in Kings wasn't new when they wrote down that book. It wasnt new when they built the Temple. In that book, you see a FULLY FLESHED OUT AND ADVANCED SYMBOLISM, that had to have been perfected before construction the Temple, the Masons didnt get their symbolism FROM the Temple. It was the other way around....... The Masons (whatever they were called then) fleshed out their symbolism and then built the Temple using their symbolism.

If my theory is right, then the characters in the versions of the rituals that pre-date the Bible couldn't have been Biblical characters. Biblical characters began to be used in the rituals because it is what the people of the day understood. Before the Bible what did they use???

Constellations and stars.
Some constellations STILL make appearances in the ritual (and the Bible), but they've been humanized and most wouldn't recognize them as such. However, it ALL goes back to the constellations. All of it. As above, so below. Old testament and new.

Job 38:32 “Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? What is Mazzaroth??? The zodiak.

Ultimately, it all goes back to the stars.......
There is an author you might like, named Sanford Holst. He is a Mason and a Knight Templar. He wrote an excellent book about the ancient Phoenicians and he addresses the ancient builders.

Is there a place in any of the Masonic Lodges where the Ark of the Covenant is represented, maybe it's own special place in the Lodge?
