As some of you probably know, my girlfriend CRHs half boxes with me nearly daily which is why I almost always refer to "us" and "we."
Well it was all her last night. My lucky lady raked in our best box ever! She cracked open her box to reveal the below:
We were both excited of course, but I knew this one would be special. The enders showing were: one Wender, two Benders, and two double-Kenders.
It's pretty rare to have just one of those in a box, let alone FIVE of the rarities. These were also our first double-ender rolls.
She and I handle enders differently... I save mine for last, building up the anticipation whereas she goes right for them so she knows what she has. Leading off with the Wender, we see this:
FIVE bright white, sorta-slick rims, alll of them 90% Franklins and Walkers! What are the odds? What in the world could we possibly have in this box?? The rest of the enders went as follows:
Only one 40% in the mix. The the rest were mostly Franklins and Walkers with a few 1964 Kens mixed in. Unbelievable!! The other double-Kender roll not pictured contained only those two.
The best roll in the box was the other double-Kender that had EIGHT silvers. The other rolls with enders contained seven, six, five and two.
We could hardly believe what was happening!! I was trying to slowly work my way through my own box at the same time but couldn't do anything but stop and watch. Here are a few more highlight rolls:
I called "dream box" as soon as I took stock of the enders... Well, we missed the official mark by two silvers, but for all intents and purposes I consider this a dream box. The ratio of 90% to 40% is astonishing, not to mention all of the Franklins and Walkers. There were probably only ten rolls in the whole box that did not contain at least one silver. Many had 5-7 silvers and several contained 1-2.
The box total is as follows: 98 Silvers - 84 x 90% and 14 x 40%.
14 x 40% Kennedy
15 x 90% Kennedy
42 x Ben Franklin
27 x Walking Liberty
Silver total: 32.45 ounces!!

That shoots us up to 160 ounces on the year. Just for comparison's sake, we scored less silver in January through June of this year than we did in this single box. This box doubled our Franklin total and tripled our Walker total. This box represented more than a 25% increase in our silver total.
Needless to say, my stat tracking has been skewed a bit. My bar charts have a Burj Khalifa sticking up in the middle and my 90/40 ratio and per-box averages are demolished. This was our 304th box of the year, so we've searched long and hard to finally get one this good.
Oh, and my box? I pulled a lone 40%.
