Low Disc Park Hunt

Went back to a park that has produced some pretty cool finds this past year, it was a pleasant 83 deg. afternoon we are supposed to drop into the 40's in the morning. In a real trashy area I decided to do some removal of the shallow trash for a couple of hours, then go back over the area with a larger coil. Never switched the coils as I had planned, however I did start to find some deeper relics with my 5.3 coil. I will go back over this area soon with a larger coil as planned. Like the results so far. HH everyone

Cool little charm! Those square nails indicate there should be some really neat stuff waiting for ya. Good luck, HH, and keep 'em comin.

Neat finds Dave!

;)

Looks like you could be on to something there. Try the large coil and then compare finds. Vern

Pretty decent haul of relics. Looks to be a nice old park to hunt.

Nice job on the cleaning, WTG!!!
That site looks to have some great potential...
Good luck next time, & Happy hunting~

Nice finds for this group and I think you'll be surprised what you find.

Back before my low-back pain I always hunted in all-metal mode in parks where the grass was poor. Many times I found awesome relics I would have missed had I used discrimination. Some deep targets can act just like junk.

Thanks everyone Kerrville was first settled in 1856 and has had slow and steady growth since then. I was very surprised to find an area in a park that was established in the early 1950's that has artifacts from the early days . I think I will try to hunt in all-metal for a while will keep you all posted.
