Nice setup, I love this picture. Wow even a pan pool next to it! EXCELLENT.

Love mine too, definitely helping double production every time, killer pic:icon_thumleft:

I've been running mine slow (no choice in the little creeks I mostly dig) and catch lots of really, really fine gold in my BGT prospector :-) Just as much as with my drop riffle sluice in fact.

These things are F'ing awesome. I went out with both my BGT's (30" Propestor & Super Mini) this weekend. Thought I was going to have a problem, I forgot to check the fluid trap before initial setup today, when my kid went to do the first cleanout on the 30, the back pack cover I stuffed in there the day before while we packed up our stuff to go back to camp. We both thought that we just wasted an hour or so. Went thru the cons and had heavy amount of black sands and some gold, guess I was lucky that the cover was cotton. The only thing about the Prospector I don't like is you can't see the Gold do it's dance down the slick plate as you can with the Super Mini because I'm to busy shoveling to notice.

First Aufisher photo: quitcher look an set ta diggin'!
Second: nice gold, nice day!

Looks like you need to scrub that slick plate again!

naw, i cleaned out and reran it. i have learned after all day of shoveling into my prospector its easier to pan my cons if i take and run my prospector cons through my super mini. cuts panning time by more than half. i didnt have quite enuf flow, besides its nice to see all that gold on the deck. i just brush my finger across it and they flow right down.

very cool idea! That's what I like about you Tweetabear...always thinking and trying stuff!

PS: the gold sure looks pretty on the deck of a bgt!

Must be nice to be able to wear shorts, it was in the 30's & 40's this past weekend. I had to even punch thru ice in the creek to walk thru in places.
BTW the BGT's can get the fines. Still have some very fine flour left in the black sand I couldn't get out hand panning tonight.1389139745922.jpg
