Lousy Morning Goes "Historic" In One Stop!

I thought those old games had a battery inside the cart, no?

Yep. NES carts (as well as Gameboy Advance, etc) often had a battery in the carts that allowed for saving of the games. The battery can be replaced if not working, but seems to be a pain to do.

I went to an Absolute Auction a few months back and could have kicked myself for going to the bathroom, actually a porta potty they had set up. As I was getting back, they were closing the bidding on a complete and mint Atari System with dozens of games. Uggghh!! Most of the personnel with Auction companies around here either lack the knowledge or the time to actually note what is in a certain box other than a game console with games and is why I sometime miss out knowing that there is a nice Game System being sold. This happened several times last year.
