Came in the first of the week and about 2 ft. when it got done. Killed the internet for a few days, shut power down for a while all over and a lot longer in some places in the county. Went from late summer right into winter. Colder temps too. 0 this morning at sunrise.

We got a little down here, which is still on the ground, because its cold. Looks like the snow gods have come through up your way and no doubt the cash will now be really rolling in.

That’s amazing stay safe
Love the mountains and scenery

I don't think we've been that busy so far TR. Lot of indicators I look at, like how full the parking lot is when I come to work, how crowded the store is, how many languages I hear spoken in the store (not from the employees), how late I have to stay in the morning, and how big my grocery loads are. I haven't had any 2,000 piece grocery loads in a while. Sales don't tell me a lot, because management will tell me, yippee, sales are up 5 percent or whatever over last year, and I tell them yeah, your prices are up 10 percent over last year, check your item movement for a better picture. They don't mention sales to me much anymore. Still I get paid the same if they have a $250,000 day or a $50,000 day, haha!

Indeed the prices are higher at King Soopers over a year ago. We just got a new store very near by. It's quite large compared to the older one. Some have said it's to big and overwhelming, but I like it. Gosh I've now seen 4 new King Sooper grocery stores built from the ground up within 6 miles of me over the years I've lived here. They just build them bigger each time.

Yeah, the weather is strange nowadays, seems like you get long hot summers, maybe 2-3 weeks of Fall like weather before Winter Directly Hits. Strange

I guess diggin season is over until spring.

And you know tamrock, we really ought to be over there checking what turns up where they're doin that blasting along I-70. Lotta minerals in that part of the country.

Indeed there's a lot of exposed mineralization along I70, especially around Idaho Springs. I haven't had to go through that construction zone now that I've retired. Hopefully the improvements will allow traffic to move better in along that stretch.

WOW great pictures :) Do me a favor PLEASE Do NOT SHARE the snow with Ohio :)

Try my best not to Gare. It's backed off a little now, but it seems our snowiest months are March-May.
