Hello fellow hunters
Recently read a book by Charles Mills, "Treasure Legends of N.C." and would like to find any local knowledge
or other hunting experiences on these legends. As a lifelong native and local hunter of the state, I've only done
minimal research as of now on these particular locations in which I would like to explore more. Here's a list of these
legend names and locations supposedly holding treasure:
Benjamin Farm (Cabarras Co.)
Gandar Hall Plantation (Brunswick Co.)
*Williamson Hoard - (Williamson Plantation Chatham Co.)
Deep River Cache (Randolph Co.)
William Wentworth cache (Guilford Co.)
Anyone hear of these? I would love to hear any stories or tales on these places. If not even huntable or accessible,
it would just be cool knowing more of the story. I'd also be interested in a
partner to hunt with these locations in a near future.
Thanks for reading guys, Surf Pirate
