due to covid and almost lost another
Surf Rat (Mike) passed recently after compications aftercatching covid
and good friend Bill was in hospital
for like 17 days due to the virus and was lucky he made it thru
and is resting at home
both are from Fla.
I met Bill at SoBe in the water like around 15 yrs plus and we've been friends ever since
and try to hunt or very least have a nice dinner when ever Im down there
I met Mike through him a few yrs later and have hunted with him a handful of times
and shared some good times with him also - he will be missed
Im on left - Bill in middle and Mike on right

I too am so sorry for the loss of your friend,it,s not easy finding friends who last a life time,only had three,two are dead and the last is so torn over the loss of his son he has little interest in any thing anymore.Hang on to the ones you,ve got left.

I know Bill used to sneak up on him - bill hunts prone on bottom (he can hold his breathe long time) and will
sneak up on you when he is bored
I snuck up on Mike and scared crap out of him here - he's got that wtf look on his face

Sorry about Mike's passing. Sounds like you had plenty of good times. Hope your other friend fully beats COVID and doesn't have to deal with long haul issues.
Met a poor guy that used to run 10k & Marathons and now can barely make it up a flight of stairs after getting COVID.
