Looking for a tool/machine to make my life easier for this spot

The Mantis tiller would be useless unless it is already loose garden soil. They are helpless against sod or tall weeds. (I own one)

Maybe a Meadow Creature/broadfork? I own one of these as well and it is VERY good at tearing up soil.

Thank you good advice

The best way to tackle a midden is to build a box sifter and sift one shovel full at a time.
If the shells are too tough to penetrate, then use a three-tine potato fork.
Could be full of Native stone artifacts or colonial relics.
Sounds interesting!

Thanks Muddyhandz that makes sense

Don't forget the beer.

In my experience when you using Tillers you want the heaviest one you can get. Other wise its just gonna pull and beat you up running it. If you have the chance get one of the larger that the tines swirl in the opposite direction of the wheels they move the smoothest. If you are looking at hand tools I'd go with Mattocks type axe. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Razor-Back-5-lb-Cutter-Mattock-4117000/206341184
