I am a petroleum geologist. I look for the black gold everyday. I love geology and am interested in all types of mining; to picking up gold fines, to looking for where the fines came from in hard rock, to treasure hunt legends, to mineral mining, maybe even hiking through the Canadian plains looking for the next kimberlite pike!
I would like to get teamed up with someone or a group of people and maybe take a week vacation away form the monotony of the office and get a little adventure. Do not want to keep any profits from anything found. Just looking for an outing. A legal one at that, want to be sure that is clear up front!
Would love to get some information about wherever we go and local claims, find a small place that could be visited a few times a year and maybe be taken a little more seriously than a "hobbyist". Plenty or pottery and arrowheads to find in these parts but i do not like disturbing history, time to extend the reach and find something fun to do once a year!
