This weekend was an all out silver shoot out at the park. Starting Saturday morning, I had three in the bag and Tom comes out with four. I tie him and he again breaks into a lead and finds a fifth………his personal best at that point. I find another one for five and he again brings out two more to set his now 7 coin personal best. Tom’s thirst is quenched for the day and I end up staying an extra hour and ½ longer for one more silver to make it six. Swinging that stock coil with the sunray probe for 10 hours broke me up pretty good.
Sunday it is off to what we call the “Two Rosie Park”. I got lucky that morning, finding two silver coins and breaking the curse of only finding one coin at that place. My appetite for silver was still there and Monday morning I again went to this small park and managed another three……….two Mercs and one Rosie. Tom was not resting as I thought he would be. It turns out he came over guns blazing again and pulled two silver quarters out of there. Good freaking weekend.

That's a lot of silver. :)

Swinging that Explorer with the sunray probe for any more than 6 hours for me is tough. Typically I take breaks every 3 hours which these days is about the longest I get to hunt.

It's nice you have Tom to hunt with. Nothing like a little friendly competition.

That's pretty crazy. Gotta LOVE when you manage to find a site like that one. Maybe it'll turn out like one of ours where it'll keep surprising you by giving up another silver no matter how hard you think you hit it.

It was a great weekend, great weather and 20 silver coins between us!!Let's hope for a repeat soon.

Holy smokes Ricardo :o :o :o Nice job on the silver!!!
I would have stayed too.

My God Ricardo, that's an amazing haul. You and Tom have the magic touch for sure. The only thing I found at that park was an old key and a piece of a Matchbox car! You guys are truly the silver killers. WTG!!!

Cheers and HH,
Brendan

Just to clear things up guys, this was three total days of detecting...........About 10 hours on the first, 4 on the second and another 6 on the third..........the hour to finds ratio as you can see was not spectacular per say. Tom was more exact and efficient in getting his 9 in much less time. Matter of fact............Tom showed up later on the first day, forgets his DIGGER (I'm a good buddy and had a spare/Bring back my digger buddy! You forgot to give it back and it'll be there for you the next time!)........and leaves earlier. I was more along the lines of working with brute force...........brute force being putting in as many hours as it took to get what I wanted.
