What is this? It is bent, I don't know if purposely or not. On the back it has like tabs that hold something in. Maybe a picture in it? What is this and how old? Thanks

I'd go with a brooch pin that held a picture or a print like you said. Being bent it looks so much like when a plow/disc runs over the find in the fields, gives that taco'd look to the find. Age maybe late Victorian.
