Dad & I only had 2.5 hours spare, so we stayed on our doorstep. This field has produces lots of Roman Coins & Medieval stuff over the past 10 years or so. The field will soon become a housing estate & we helped the Archies do a dig before this happened. I remember finding more in 2 hours than the team did in 3 days! We also handed over our GPS Maps of the finds to help their report.

Therefore everything we save counts...

This farmer is not keen on use detecting the young Wheat, so all we could do was the tyre tracks, good result considering!
