Little tip to help us with trash targets

he said it proves whether or not it is more conductive, Gold isn't as conductive as silver or aluminum, so would the gold show okay or drop down like the trash? I can't go check this for myself right now but if it works okay for gold, it would be an awesome help

Maybe it has more to do with the shape of the target and not the conductivity.

While I have seen this work; much depends on the amount of trash. Does not work as well when the trash is thick and you end up having more than one target under the coil.

Still a useful procedure.

I agree I’ve tried it out already on trash and it works 50/50

Fwiw it's never worked on any machine.... it's really the same thing as swinging the coil, but less effectively, because it's like swinging the coil and missing the target most of the time. Video is smoke and mirrors click bait (unlike Calabash obviously who has one of the most honest detecting channels I've seen)

The best method for trashy targets is experience. Switch to all metal listen for tone and grunts and then decide
