Little silver coin & a HUGE silver coin today !

Well what I found today was a a HUGE surprise !! First off I had a very nice +80 at 2 inches not more than 10 minutes into the hunt . That target was a 1964D silver Rosie . I was happy with that

. Then My son and I started hunting the back oval soccer field and found a bunch of clad , Carson found a dollar coin . Then I had a screaming +94 at 3-4 inches . I told Carson it had to be a big piece of brass , it wasn't a big piece of brass

. I had my 2nd ever 1 oz silver Eagle !!!!

. I couldn't believe it . Carson came over as I took it out of the hole and ours eyes were popping . Last year in July I found one and I thought it was once in a life time find , I'm glad I was wrong

. I can't believe what kids loose at schools . It's a 1987 and in very good condition other than the small nick I put on it

. I hope this become a once year event

They were found in two different cities . The one today was very close to Campbell .

the notion that a 1 oz silver eagle would ever be found while detecting is almost like a dream. finding two seems crazy.... that is just incredible!

At first I thought I had my 2nd silver dollar , found a Peace a few years ago . When I wiped it while still in the hole I just could believe I had found another one only a year and a half apart . My son was just shaking his head in disbelief . I didn't even want to take it out of the hole because it looked so good down there !

Crazy...who carries these around? Funny what you find in parks. I just got a mercury in the woodchips of a school tot lot.

Cool find! It is amazing what you can find in a school yard. A few years ago while on vacation in Orange, California I found a 1946 Booker T. Washington commemorative half dollar in AU cond. under a swing.....

Do they still have Show & Tell at school's if so that's probably how a lot of our goodies end up lost for us to find.
