Just found this today in my backyard looks like flint to me.
Which is weird cause we have tons of quartz. But tell me what you think first one for me
It's an amazing feeling

Looks like it might be broken at the base if so then it would of been much bigger. Welcome to the forum.

Upstate South Carolina in pendleton. We have a ton of quartz but this one looks like flint.

Welcome aboard Finnbanks7. Your piece does look like it's made of Flint. Hard to nail down the type though since the base is broken off.

Congrats on your first find. Where there's one, there are always more. If it was my yard I would start a huge landscaping project and move a lot of dirt. But that's just me. lol
