Lil of This & That Over the Weekend and a Couple of Firsts

Saturday was a beautiful day out and I decided to venture to the other side of the property across the fields. Felt like I walked miles. Found two trash piles - I now know what they did with all of their aluminum cans years ago. Not a bad day though, found an awesome spoon, Alliance Silverplate is written on the back, can't find to much on it though. A few bird bands - a first for me and a couple rivets with leather still on them, another first. Oh yeah, and a nice lil round ball. Had fun. Thanks for looking. HH!

Nice finds. Yeah I found a rivet with a big hunk of leather still attached a few weeks ago. The leather just crumbles when you touch it!

The only thing that will keep me from swinging is lightening...lightening with a metal detector and metal shovel in hand...not a good combination...

You're right. For 250 bucks, rain will not stop any of us. It doesn't even if you're not paying!
