Lighter?

It has been raining for over a week now in Knoxville. I couldn't take it anymore so I decided to have a quick hunt at a house where I have permission. By quick I mean 10 maybe 15 minutes.

My first signal of two I originally thought was trash but upon further inspection it appears to me to look like a lighter. The spinning wheel piece is missing or nonexistent so I am not entirely sure. Any thoughts?

yes it is a lighter, may have set into a molded clay piece or possibly some carved wood. They used to adorn most coffee tables back in the day.

Yes its a lighter. I have one just like it. Mine sits into a square wood piece with a laser engraved design. If I can find it, Ill post a picture. Mine is 1980s.
