✅ SOLVED "Licensed Hack" Badge ???

Several days ago EARTHWORKS dug this cool "badge" from an 1850's estate in upstate NY. Reverse still has the pin attached. Anyone ever seen this style before? Any history about them? Age perhaps? Thanks!!
