I have been taking in situ pictures probably before some of the members here were born. This picture is a scanned photo of a point I found in 1976. Not the best quality image as it was taken with an inexpensive pocket film camera of the time. Added a recent pic of same point.

Yes, more than half of the points I find are obsidian. It's very plentiful around here.
